Bespoke Carpentry

Made-to-measure furniture and joinery, designed around your space, your style and the way you actually live. Every piece is drawn, made and fitted by James himself.

Awkward alcoves, sloping ceilings and old houses that were never quite square — these are the jobs where made-to-measure earns its keep. Everything is measured on site, drawn up with you, and built to suit the room rather than the other way round.

Timber is chosen for the job in hand, from hardwood tops that will take daily use to painted MDF panelling that sits flush against period skirting. Finishes are agreed before a single board is cut.

Twenty six years of theatre, film and television set building means tight deadlines, clean site work and a finish that stands up to close inspection.
